As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. I know he was a strong and kind individual. I'm glad I had the opportunity to get to know him even if it was for a brief time.

I have already missed Roger for years, and my heart goes out to all of you. I remember how funny he was, how he teased us relentlessly, but also how steadfast and principled he was. He was a good dad, but also a father of many, and an inspiration to us all. I wish I could be with you, and send my love and prayers.
