Roger Lewis Jones, a beloved member of the community, passed away on August 9. 2024, at the age of 75. He was known for his warm and talkative, a passion for playing his guitar and fishing, willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Mr. Jones was a familiar face in the neighborhood, and his presence will truly be missed by all who knew him.
Mr. Jones touched the lives of many with his kind and friendly demeanor. His will live on in the of those who had the pleasure of crossing with him.
The visitation to honor Mr. Jones will take place on Friday August 16, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, located at 4155 South R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75224.
The funeral service to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday August 17, 2024, starting at 11:00 AM at the New Life Christian Bible Fellowship in Duncanville, Texas situated at 323 West Wheatland Road, Duncanville, TX 75116.
Mr. Jones leaves behind a legacy of kindness and compassion that will be cherished by his surviving relatives and friends. In this time of grief, may we remember him for the light he brought into our lives and the love he shared with all who knew him.
