Roger Arnold Knowles

Roger Arnold Knowles, 86 of Coventry died peacefully on April 17, 2021 at Windham Memorial Hospital. Roger was born in Oakland, Maine on May 17, 1934, son of the late James and Cora (Bickford) Knowles. He is the last of the 16 Knowles children to leave us. He is predeceased by his wife of 57 years, Sandra (Peterson). Living in Coventry, Ct, he was a member of the Teamsters as an auto mechanic at Sweet Life in MA for over 20 years. His passions included working on cars, tinkering and fixing everything, gardening, sewing, and spending time with family and friends. He will be dearly missed. He leaves his children, Kelly Malay and husband Chris, of Arlington, TX, Keith Knowles and wife Tina of Bolton, Kevin Knowles and wife Nancy of Vernon, Barbara Morgan and husband Brian of Hummelstown, PA; Paul White of Naugatuck, 10 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 30, 2021, 7 p.m. at the Ladd & Carmon Funeral Home, 19 Ellington Ave., Rockville. Burial will take place in Maine.
