Gavin was a boss, mentor and most of all, a friend. He supported my Men's Gymnastics program at Temple U and stopped by occasionally to see how my team was doing at practice. I'll miss his wisdom and friendship.

My deepest sympathy to Gavin's family. My husband, Frank Massino, always spoke very highly of Mr. White and Mr. White helped and supported my husband while he attended Temple University and afterwards in sports, academics and life. He touched many lives and will be remembered for his devotion to Temple and touching the lives many people who attended Temple. A caring, kind, giving man who was a positive influence to all he met. Gavin White touched, tutored and inspired many, many people during his rich life. I never had the pleasure of competing against him on the sports field, but his gentile, authoritative demeanor away from the athletic field was also a pleasure to behold. A big tough guy like him singing at my wedding vows renewal touched me and my wife profoundly. He enriched all of our lives with his spirituality, on display most Sundays at St. Lukes as he and Doris raised the family. We are proud to have called Gavin our friend and I hope for peace in your families. God Bless all of you.
Sincerely, Paul & Mimi Worrell

Gavin, My deepest sympathy to you and your family. May you find comfort in the memories you have shared and feel fortunate that you had many years with your dad. 93 is nothing to scoff at! Take care! Thoughts and prayers!

Gavin was my track coach freshman year at Temple and he became much more as time went on. He was my mentor, advocate and role model throughout my time at Temple. Gavin supported me academically as well as athletically. He opened doors for me professionally and his confidence in me inspired my eventual success as an educator. Gavin was a great man. I owe him much.
