Roger Dale Law

Mr. Roger Dale Law, age 71, of Douglas, Georgia, passed away Saturday morning, December 6, 2025, at his residence following a lengthy illness.

Roger was born on August 18, 1954, in Ocilla, Georgia to the late Raymond Law and the late Versie Mae Luke Law. He was a heating and air conditioning technician by trade and worked for a number of years with Chancey Heating and Cooling of Douglas, Georgia.

Along with his parents, Roger was greeted in Heaven by a daughter, Machelle Batten, a sister, Marilyn Floyd, and a brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Sandra Law.

Left behind to cherish Roger's memory are his loving wife, Jennie Tanner Law of Douglas, Georgia; children: Michael Batten, Renee Williams, Chad Ables and Amy Ables, Shane Ables and Lauren Phillips, and Melissa Harper, all of Douglas; grandchildren: Cam Pierce of Ocilla, Georgia, Kel and Brittany Roberson of Royston, Georgia, Raven and Matt Childs of Moultrie, Georgia, Demie Ables, Lake Ables, Sam Ables, all of Douglas, Georgia, Austin Futch of Fitzgerald, Georgia, and Seth Ables and Jacklynn Burkhalter of Broxton, Georgia; 11 great grandchildren; and a sister, Carolyn Sandiford of Fitzgerald, Georgia; Along with a number of extended family members.

Roger's family will honor his wishes with memorialization by cremation, and his family will scatter his ashes in his favorite place in Fargo, Georgia at a later date.
