Roger McBride Obituary
Roger leaves behind his loving wife Barbara (Carl) of 53 years; children Katherine (Justin) Glass, Zachary (Abigail) McBride; and his grandchildren Jamie McBride and Julian Glass. He is survived by his brothers David McBride, Larry (Cathy) McBride, and Danny (Michelle) McBride; sisters Ann (Leon) VanBuren and Sally (Kevin) Wansley; mother-in-law Marjorie Carl; brother-in-law Ken (Carol) Carl; sister-in-law Debra (Patrick) Shanahan; and many special nieces and nephews. Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Ruth McBride, and his father-in-law, Donald Carl.
Roger's easy-going, caring personality endeared him to everyone he met. His concern for others led him to always lend a helping hand to family, friends, and those in need. He continues to help others by donation of his organs and tissue.
He loved his family deeply and was happiest when surrounded by them or traveling on family vacations. He also loved to play pool and was a dedicated member of the Columbus Straight Pool League. He will be deeply missed by all.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 24, from 2:00–4:00 PM at Rutherford Funeral Home in Powell. A celebration of life will be held at the Rusty Bucket in Worthington on Sunday, February 1, at 2:00 PM.

Roger was a great friend and a lover of all animals great and small. A genuine soul who was loved by many. He will be missed and our memories will be cherished forever. Rest well my friend....see you in the afterlife.
