Roger McLemore Obituary
Born in Corpus Christi, Texas, he was the son of the late Keaton Jones McLemore and Bertha Victoria Davis.
Roger was raised in Tyler, Texas. After graduating from high school, he was trained by the Salvation Army to become a Minister. He served the Salvation Army as a Minister in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, California, and Virginia. He was a big Dallas Cowboys and Yankees fan, adored his wife, and loved his dog Max.
Roger is survived by his loving wife Margaret, his son Jeffery McLemore, his grandchildren Kevin Jr., Shane Riolo, and Devyn McLemore, and his great-grandson Elijah McLemore.
In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his son Kevin McLemore, his brothers Robert McLemore and Meredith McLemore, and his sister Joan Wilson.
Family and friends are invited to call from 1-3 pm, with a service included, on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at Nelson Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of Nelson Funeral Home.
