Roger McNulty Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Filbrandt Chapel - Starks Family Funeral Homes & Cremation Services on Jan. 8, 2026.
Roger Eugene McNulty was born May 2nd, 1937 in Chicago, Illinois. He moved to Bangor, Michigan with his family when he was 7 years old and lived until his death January 6th, 2026.

Roger grew up with close friends from the area and enjoyed riding motorcycles and fast cars racing them with his friends.

He joined the Marine Corps at 17 years old and served two years, where he received his G.E.D.

Upon returning home he met his future wife Frances Joann Morgan. They married and had two sons.

Roger worked for Bohn Alum for 30 years and then continued to work for another 30 years excavating and hauling sand.

Throughout his life he enjoyed spending time with his family and continued to work hard at transforming a vacant farmland into a beautiful paradise homestead of his own vision, to be enjoyed by his family for generations to come.

He is survived by his children Robert (Ronda) McNulty of Bangor, Richard (Penny) McNulty of Grand Junction, one sister Marilyn Hagar of Florida and three grandchildren, Robin McNulty Burrows, Benjamin McNulty and Brandi McNulty French. Seven great-grandchildren also survive him.

The family will host a private memorial and graveside service in the spring for close friends and family.
