Roger Miller Obituary
He was born to the late Lloyd and Arabelle (Kirk) Miller on June 29, 1949 in Madison, WV.
Roger was a retired Heavy Equipment Mechanic for 30 years, with Anderson Equipment. He enjoyed carpentry work and time well spent with his friends and family, especially his grandchildren. He loved to entertain with his stories, had a heart the size of Texas, and his thoughtfulness was valued by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Jeannie; children: Roger Miller Jr. (Monica Stephenson) of Winfield, WV, Marci Edgemon (Joey) of Hurricane, WV, and Arlie Miller of Corpus Christi, TX; grandchildren: Grayson Miller, Luke Miller, Sam Edgemon, Mallory Edgemon, and Grant Miller; sister, Teresia Saulton of St. Albans, WV; and great friend, Sam Kirk who was like a brother to him.
A Memorial Service for Roger will be 6:00 pm Friday January 30, 2026 at Chapman Funeral Home Hurricane, with Eddie Cooper officiating.
Friends may visit with family one hour prior to the service.
