Roger Mitchell

Roger Howard Mitchell was born on November 17, 1948. He passed away on January 5, 2026 at Odebolt Specialty Care Nursing Home in Odebolt, Iowa. He was the son of Howard John and Dorothy Hazel (Sherman) Mitchell.
He married Ruth Ann Schuder on November 29, 1983. They later had four children David John, Carrie Mae, Kelly Sue, and Joshua Howard, and a son-in-law Darrius Taylor.
Roger enjoyed spending time with his grandson Evan Michael Andre-Garrison and his granddaughter Willow Marie Mitchell and the rest of his family and close friends. He also enjoyed camping, fishing, going to the races, and car rides around the lakes.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife Ruth, their three kids, and son-in-law.
Roger is preceded in death by his father Howard, mother Dorothy, son David, two sisters, one brother, and his father and mother-in-law William Howard Schuder and Lila Louise Schuder.
