It is with great sadness that the family of Roger Rey Ortega announces his passing on Tuesday April 2, 2024 at the age of 32.
He was born on August 28,1991 to Marina King and Rudy Ortega Sr. in San Antonio,Texas.
Roger was inspired to study nursing at a career fair and passed his state exam to become a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA). He continued studying into a Renal Technology Program and became a certified Dialysis Technician. His plans were to become a Registered Nurse.
Roger loved his children Eliana and Nathaniel so much. He enjoyed gaming, hot cheetos, big red, gambling, family time and keeping in touch with friends he met along the way. Roger had a beautiful smile and unique laugh that we will truly miss.
Roger is preceded in death by his Mother Marina King, Grandparents Raul and Rosemary Ortega, Tio Edward (Eddie) Ortega
Roger is survived by his Children Eliana and Nathaniel Ortega; He is also survived by Alexis Martinez, his formal spouse and mother of his Children.
Additionally, Roger is survived by his:
Father: Rudy Ortega Sr.
Siblings: Rudy Ortega Jr, Blanca and Joe Guerra.
Nieces and Nephew: Kira,Kaylee,Kayce and Kaleb Guerra
Grandparents: Blanca and Bill St. John
And many uncles, aunts, cousins, extended family and friends.
