Roger Pollard, a cherished father and a devoted production manager for McGraw-Hill, passed away on June 29, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on June 4, 1955, in Guyana to his parents Rueben and Gwendoline. Roger brought warmth and kindness into the lives of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Throughout his career, Roger exemplified dedication and hard work as a production manager, contributing significantly to the success of McGraw-Hill. His meticulous attention to detail and steadfast commitment earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues.
Roger was a kind and caring individual whose compassion resonated deeply with all who crossed his path. He created meaningful connections characterized by genuine warmth, making him a beloved figure among friends and family alike.
He is survived by his daughter, Marsha A. Pollard, his ex-wife Barbara, whom he was married to of 38 years, his siblings; Michael Pollard, Sandra Pollard, Marlyn Pollard, Grace Alli, Audrey Ragobeer, and Rita Xavier who carries forth his legacy of kindness and dedication. Roger is predeceased by his sister Marcia DaSilva. Roger’s spirit will be missed dearly, but his influence will remain in the hearts of those he touched throughout his life.
