Mr. Roger Allen Pool Jr.

Pool, Roger Allen Jr. Born June 28, 1941 and passed away December 16, 2009. Survived by his companion and partner, Judy Damron Pool; sons, David Allen Pool and Douglas Wayne Pool; daughters, Dana Lea Pool, Dana Kaye Nurge, Patricia Armstrong and husband Sean; sister, Fern White; grandchildren, Blake Nurge, Piper Nurge, Cassidy Jackson, and Robert Armstrong. Roger loved driving in the mountains near his home in Colorado; fly fishing and four wheeling. He collected coins along with books and served holiday time helping the less fortunate. He worked as a truck driver, CDL driving instructor, transportation manager and general manager of Reconserve of Colorado for 10 years. He collected coins and books and spent holiday time helping the less fortunate. Roger was a Mason and a member of the Christian Church. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 P.M. Monday, December 21, 2009 at Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. Donations may be made to Dallas Life Foundation or a local homeless shelter.
