Roger Robinson Obituary

Evansville, WI - Roger Alan Robinson, 74, of Evansville, Wisconsin, formerly of Janesville, passed away peacefully at home on August 30, 2025. He was born June 23, 1951, in Waukesha, Wisconsin, the son of Ruby J. Raske (née Olson), formerly Robinson, and George H. Robinson.

A 1969 graduate of Janesville Parker High School, Roger spent his entire career at the chemical manufacturing plant on Palm Street in Janesville, retiring after nearly 40 years at the same facility under the ownership of Evonik. He was a devoted Wisconsin sports fan and, during Tom Brady's tenure, a loyal follower of the New England Patriots. Roger especially loved taking multi-week road trips with his beloved fiancée of more than 25 years, Therese Creighton.

Roger is survived by his son, Mark; stepdaughter, Bridget Creighton (Damon Hinkle); his sister, Donna Collicott; nieces, Jodi (Collicott) Hartzell, Jennifer Collicott, Becky Jorge and Jolene Scofield; sisters-in-law, Janet (Roger) Ellis and Aggie (Dan) Fenrich; grandchildren, Tyler and Alexis Hinkle, and Dylan Creighton; along with great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his fiancée, Therese Creighton; stepsons, Dale and Jason Creighton; his mother, Ruby Raske; his father, George Robinson; his stepfather, Albert "Earl" Raske; his father-in-law, Wilbur McCreedy, and mother-in-law, Nelly McCreedy.

Roger will be remembered for his steadfast loyalty to family, his strong work ethic, and the joy he found on the open road.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 AM on Friday, September 5, 2025, at Ward-Hurtley Funeral Home, Evansville. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Immediately following the service, a luncheon will be held at the Center Town Hall, 9119 W County Road A, Evansville. Ward-Hurtley Funeral Home, Evansville is assisting the family.
