Roger D. Rogers, 79, of Boston, NY passed away peacefully on Dec. 28, 2024. Beloved husband of 38 yrs of Caryl "Penny" (nee Persons) Rogers; loving father of Roger (Katlyn) and David (Amy) Rogers and Tamara (Skip) Armstrong; step-father of Nicole Wysocki ; dear brother of Nancy (Euclide) Theriault. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Florence Rogers, four brothers, Melvin (late Marlene), Ronald (late Nancy) and Clifford (late Helen) Rogers and two sisters, Vernita (late Clarence) Genter , Nelda (late Arthur) Williams and a step-son, E. Heath Doster. Roger graduated from Hamburg High School in 1964. He worked for Dunlop Tires in N. Tonawanda, NY for 33 yrs retiring in 2000.In his free time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, gardening and traveling. Friends may call at the Donald M. Demmerley Funeral Home 21 Pierce Ave. Hamburg, NY on Saturday, January 11, 2025 from 11- 2 Pm. Interment will be private. Please share online condolences at www.demmerleyfuneralhome.com.
