`I first met Roger when our sons played soccer together at Phoenixville and became friends .... we played indoor soccer together as well and enjoyed meeting occasionally for an adult beverage and talking endlessly about the sport that grips the world. He was very proud of his family and spoke of them often. I knew him to be unfailingly kind, polite and filled with humor. His gentle and kind way will be missed. The world is a better place because we were lucky enough to have Roger in it. He will be missed. RIP old friend.

Roger was one of the managers I had here at Vanguard over the years. He was a gentleman and always had a calm demeanor. I also would see him occasionally in the Phoenixville area over the years. My condolences to his family.

Roger coached my youngest son. He was truly a coach and a great teacher. While winning is always nice, allowing the kids to pick up skills to improve their game was also a priority. As a parent, I appreciate Roger and everything he helped my son achieve!
