With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Roger Wallace, a man whose laughter was contagious and whose generosity knew no bounds. Born on January 30, 1964, in Bath, Maine, Roger spent his life filling the world around him with warmth, humor, and kindness. He passed away on January 26, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and service.
Roger was known for his unwavering reliability and loyalty — qualities that shaped both his personal life and his career. For 25 years, he served his community as a 911 Dispatcher, where countless people found comfort simply hearing his steady voice on the other end of the line during their most difficult moments. In his younger years, he also served as a Part-Time Special Officer for the Town of Acton, further reflecting his lifelong commitment to helping others. Roger took pride in being someone people could depend on, a value he carried into every part of his life.
Roger is survived in Maine by his loving mother, Gladys Sweeney; his four sisters, Priscilla, Theresa, Eunice, and Tracy; along with half- and step-siblings, and more nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews than could possibly be counted.
Above all else, Roger’s greatest joy was his family. His love for his wife, Kim, and their three children — DJ, Ben, and Izzie — was the center of his world. They were his pride, his purpose, and his greatest achievement, and they will carry forward his legacy of laughter, kindness, and unwavering love.
As we remember Roger Wallace, we celebrate a life defined by loyalty, service, and love. Roger showed up — for his family, for his community, and for anyone who needed him. He gave comfort through his steady presence, laughter through his easy humor, and security through his unwavering reliability. The impact of his life lives on in the countless people he helped, the family he cherished, and the love he gave so freely. He will be deeply missed and always remembered.
