ROLAND ALARID Obituary
July 1970 - August 2025
Roland K. Alarid, a loving, caring, and devoted father, brother, and son, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2025, in Albuquerque, NM surrounded by family.
Roland leaves behind his beloved daughters, Ariel and Darlene Alarid; his parents, Tony and Consuelo Alarid; his sisters, Tina Montoya (Vince), Suzanne Ortiz (Joe), Jacqueline Brown, and Lisa McElroy (Chris); nephew Vinson Montoya; and nieces Taylor Montoya, Reina Alarid, and Gianna Brown.
The family are grateful to the staff at the Raymond G. Murphy VA Medical Center who provided exceptional care for Roland over the last 14 years.
A Rosary will be held on September 9, 2025, at 9:00 AM, followed by Mass at 10:00 AM, both taking place at St. Anne Parish, located at 511 Alicia St. Santa Fe, NM 87501. Interment will be at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:00 PM.

Roland went to Santa Fe High Votech with my brother Marcos Anaya he passed in 2019 in a car accident. He had told me that Roland was sick in the VA hospital years back. He would´ve been saddened to hear of his friends passing. God bless you through this difficult time.
