Rolando "Roly" Rodriguez III

Rolando Guadalupe Rodriguez III, better known as Roly, was born on December 5, 2002 to Amanda Silva and Rolando Rodriguez. From the day he was born, he was special. He loved music and once he learned how to walk at 8 months old, we couldn't get him to stop dancing. Roly was also super talented and could play trumpet, guitar, piano, and keyboard. He was so excited to start EPCC in the fall where he would be majoring in music.  He loved all things Pokémon, anime and his 1993 Honda Accord. He loved that car so much, even though it was always giving him a hard time. But most of all he loved his family and his friends. He was an amazing big brother to Jacob, Citlaly, Braelynn, and Michael. Roly and Jacob were inseparable and Citlaly got her love of music from him. Even though he was taken from us way to soon, his memory and his light will always be with us. Roly is survived by his parents Amanda Silva and Rolando Rodriguez. His brothers Jacob Rodriguez and Michael Rodriguez. His sisters Citlaly Silva and Braelynn Rodriguez. He is also survived by his grandparents Abelardo and Martha Castillo and Maria De la Luz Rodriguez. Roly is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins who he loved very much. He is preceded in death by his great grandparents Arves and Acelia Jones, his grandfather Rolando Rodriguez, and his cousins Angelee Jones, and Steven R. Messer. 

Visitation will be from 10:00am to 11:45am on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass Drive.  Funeral Mass will begin at 12:15pm on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 9025 Diana Drive. Committal Service to follow at 1:30pm at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.  (East Shelter)
