Rolf Erik Christopherson

Rolf Erik Christopherson, age 67, of Howell, Michigan, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2025. He was born on July 29, 1958, in Howell, to the late William and Betty Christopherson.
Rolf grew up in Howell and graduated from Howell High School in 1976. He later married the love of his life, Kim, on February 19, 2000. The two first met in high school and were blessed to reconnect later in life, creating a beautiful bond rooted in friendship, laughter, and deep love.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Kim; his children, Palina (Ryan) Panozzo, Erik (Amy) Christopherson, Hailey Bransdorfer (Colton Bennet), and Leah (Evan) Zapolski; and his cherished grandchildren, Emma, Fiona, Alice, Lilibell, William, and Aksel.
Rolf is also survived by his siblings, Kaaren Christopherson and Sven (Lisa) Christopherson; nieces and nephews Anders Christopherson, Ashton (Sarah) Christopherson, Evan Christopherson, Rachel Richter (Alex Cuda), Jessica Richter, Angela Richter, Ashley (Steve) Buck, and Justin (Kari) Richter; and many great-nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Betty Christopherson, and his siblings, William "Trygve" Christopherson and Mary Christopherson.
Rolf was an avid photographer with an incredible eye for capturing life's moments. He had a deep appreciation for antiques, a love of family history, and a lifelong devotion to the Detroit Tigers-especially the 1968 World Series team. More than anything, Rolf found his greatest joy in being surrounded by family.

The family will receive friends for a memorial gathering on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at 2:00 pm, at Liberty Baptist Church. 599 Chilson Rd. Howell, MI 48843. A memorial service will begin at 3:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Rolf's name to Michigan's The Parkinson's Foundation, Liberty Baptist Church, or to a veterans organization of your choice.
