Rolf Vevle Eriksen

Rolf is my mothers 1st Cousin. I really didn't now him all that well, but when I was a little girl I met him once. He was this tall strange man with big glasses and a coat standing in our living room from a famous country far away. Later I have been told about his achievement as a soccer player for Brann. I have also worked for a team mate of his from that time.

Rolf was uncanny in his sense of would happen in a game before it actually happened. A great soccer mind that I learned a lot from, on and off the field.

I cannot seperate my great experiences of Augsburg Soccer without thanking Rolf for what he added and contributed to my experience. All who were blessed to have been touched by his coaching and friendship will always feel that Rolf was a man of integrity, compasion and dignity.

Rolf will be missed, but my memories will stay with me forever.
