Roman Anthony Frank, age 88, of 889 Irish Ct. Chilton, died on Sat. Oct. 2, 2004 at his home. He was born on Aug. 5, 1916 in St. John, son of the late Joseph & Olga (Wolf) Frank. He married Claudia Brunelle on Aug. 8, 1942 and they had 3 children. She preceded him in death on March 30, 1966. On May 13, 1967 he married Ethel Miotke, and she preceded him in death in Sept. of 1993. He then married Arlyne (Suttner) Sielaff on Aug. 1, 2001 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Hilbert. He attended St. John the Baptist Catholic School, and was a graduate and valedictorian of the Hilbert High School class of 1934. (Arlyne was the salutatorian of the same class) He attended the Spencerian Business College in Milwaukee, and worked as operations manager for Manufacturers Box Co. from 1940 until his retirement in 1982. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Hilbert. Romy enjoyed playing sheepshead & cribbage, was an avid follower of the Packers & Brewers, and he was a whiz at word puzzles, and Wheel of Fortune. Romy loved to dance and wanted to get a waltz in with Arlyne any chance he could. Survivors include his wife Arlyne; his three children, Roger (Kay) Frank of Denver, CO, Sharon Reichert of Belleview, FL, Ronald Frank; a step-daughter, Carol (Steve) Walvisch of Mount Pleasant, MI; 7 grandchildren, 3 step-granddaughters, 19 great grandchildren; a brother, Francis (Ruth) Frank of Milwaukee; 2 sisters-in-law, Dolores Suttner of Chilton, Dorothy Suttner of Brillion; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. He was also preceded in death by 3 brothers, Harold, Robert, & Allan Frank; and by a sister-in-law, Marian Frank. Funeral services will be at 7 PM on Thur. Oct. 7, 2004 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Hilbert, (108 S. 6th St.) with the Rev. Rallen Stencil officiating. Burial will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwaukee. Friends may call at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton from 5 to 6:30 PM on Thursday, and again on Fri. at Holy Cross Chapel (7301 W. Nash) in Milwaukee from 10 to 11 AM when committal prayers will be held.
