Romona Ramour Obituary

Romona spent much of her life in Sumter, where she built lasting connections and raised her family. A dedicated worker, she spent many years employed in industrial plants, contributing her skills and determination to a demanding field. Three years ago, she made Sabine County her home and quickly became known for her generous spirit and willingness to lend a hand to friends and neighbors alike.
Known affectionately as "Mo," Romona had a passion for fishing and found joy in working on small engines-a talent that reflected both her patience and mechanical aptitude. She also enjoyed relaxing with television shows during quieter moments.
Romona is survived by her sons: Austin Pridette, Mark Ramour, Carl Peyton Ramour, Chance Ramour, and Shane Remour; her daughter, Precilla Bragg; nieces Ava Ramour and Delaney Ramour; sisters, B. G. Bentley, Carlinda Bentley, and Charlene Simmons; and four cherished grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Mark Ramour.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date. Cremation arrangements were handled by Starr Funeral Home in Hemphill.
Romona's legacy lives on through the lives she touched with kindness and quiet strength. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
