Ronald D. Adair, born May 26, 1949, in Tyler, Texas, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of faith, family, and a lifelong appreciation for teaching.
Ronald was the son of James Daniel Adair and Pearlie Mae Vina Hammer Sims Adair, who instilled in him the values of kindness, perseverance, and faith that guided him throughout his life. A devoted child of Christ, Ronald lived with a quiet strength and a deep belief in God’s grace.
Ronald spent his life as a teacher, where he encouraged curiosity and learning in the lives of his students.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Kay Adair. He was a proud and devoted father to Amy Lynn, Alexandra Taylor, and Daniel Austin Tyler, and a cherished grandfather to Patrick, Emily, Parker, Maddox, and Hayden, who brought him great joy.
Ronald is also survived by his twin brother Donald Adair and his wife Sondra, and his sisters Bettie, Nancy, and Louise and her husband Tommy, along with many extended family members and friends who will remember him fondly.
Ronald will be fondly remembered for his steady faith, his dedication to his family, and the quiet ways he cared for those around him. While he will be so deeply missed, his family takes comfort in knowing he has been welcomed home into the eternal peace of the Lord he faithfully followed.
