Ron Bareis Obituary
The beloved husband of June Bareis (nee Bischoff) for 60 years; cherished dad of Renee Parks (Michael); treasured grandpa of Megan Parks & Daniel Parks; was preceded in death by his sister Betty Bingaman and his parents Erwin and Dorothy Bareis (nee Fann). Ron was a loving cousin, uncle, brother-in-law and dear friend of many.
Ron was a avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing and for many years he and his family travelled Missouri camping and taking in the beauty of nature. Until his health decilined a few years ago, Ron was riding the trails in Madison County, IL on his bike. He took great pride in planting his hanging baskets every spring. Ron proudly served in the Navy on the the USS Buck.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 6th from 4-8pm and the Service on Tuesday, April 7th at 10:30am- at Hutchens-Stygar Funeral & Cremation Center, 5987 Mid Rivers Mall Dr., St. Charles 63304. Interment will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery with Military honors. Memorial contributions have been suggested to the American Lung Association.
