Ron Jones

Ron Jones, age 66 of Lenoir City, was born in Loudon on March 28, 1959, and passed away on February 26, 2026. Ron was a Christian man and enjoyed services at Bell Avenue Church every Sunday. He was a loving husband and father and a devoted Papaw to his many grandchildren. Ron retired from his job as Deputy State Fire Marshal for the State of Tennessee and was happiest when he was surrounded by his family. Most of all, he loved a good home-cooked meal where he only occasionally scorched the dumplings (we remember with a smile).

Ron is survived and cherished by his family, friends, and new puppy, Dodger: his devoted wife, Cynthia; sons, Robert (Megean) and Matt (Mandy); and stepsons, Brandon Dillingham (Ariel) and Alex Dillingham.

Also surviving Ron are his beloved grandchildren: Kate, Nyah, Liam, Kingston, Ryder, Sophia, Aidan, Brooke, Baylee, Makenzie, and Izaiah. Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Elizabeth.

A celebration of life is planned for Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 5:00 PM at Bell Avenue Baptist Church in Lenoir City, where we will share and celebrate our favorite memories and stories of the man we so loved.
