ALTHOUGH OTHER ACTORS HAVE PLAYED FAGIN I THINK OF RON MOODY AS MOST ASSOCIATED WITH THE ROLE. HE WAS SO GREAT IN THE ROLE. I HAVE WATCHED OLIVER A NUMBER OF TIMES ALWAYS ENJOYING IT. I ALSO RON MOODY IN THE 12 CHAIRS. REST IN PEACE RON MOODY.

A totally unique actor never to be forgotten. I met you at Sandown park races for Variety club with your wife and children ,How proud you were of them.Fond memories filming Every days a Holiday with you . deepest sympathy

Ron Moody once described the character he made his own as a man filled with "rachmanos" (compassion). He thought that, whatever Fagin's flaws, he fed and clothed children who otherwise would have died on the streets of London. He even loved them, in his way. I enjoyed Ron Moody's portrayal of Fagin in the movie Oliver Twist. He was hilarious in the role, but the kindness he displayed to Oliver and the interaction with the Artful Dodger was amazing. Life is like a mist, here today and gone tomorrow and in time may fade away but one thing we are assured of, is God does not forget our works. May the Moody family and friends find comfort in this outpouring of love for Fagin.

My husband and I so enjoyed Mr. Moody's portrayal of Sir Joseph Porter in "Pinafore" at the Kennedy Center. And that's not to forget his Fagin, either. He truly was one of a kind. Condolences to family, friends, colleagues, and admirers everywhere.

I can't help myself laughing to myself each time that I watch the movie Oliver !!Granted Mr. Moody will be greatly missed by family and friends, but just as in the movie Mr. Moody showed us how to laugh at ourselves through his work. Mr. Moody brough much joy to others in Oliver. I hope to meet him in Paradise.

Anytime I had to make a decision in my life, I would always say: "I'm reviewing the situation!" I saw the movie "Oliver!" at sixteen and it remains my favorite musical of all time. May Mr. Moody rest in peace and be reunited with his co-stars Oliver Reed and Jack Wild.

RIP Ron. So sad. You will always be fondly loved and remembered as Fagin. You inspired me to peruse my dreams to become a musical star. And now you are a different kind of star, the brightest star of them all shinning down on us from heaven.

Ron Moody was my favorite character Fagin in the wonderful movie "Oliver!". What a wonderful actor. My condolences to his family at this very sad time.
