Ron Plymate Obituary
August 4 at 6:00 PM in the funeral home
Ron Plymate, 74, Stockton, Missouri, died peacefully at 10:20 a.m. Sunday, July 30, 2023, surrounded by family, after a fierce battle with cancer.
He was born October 22, 1948, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Over his lifetime, he served in the United States Marine Corps; he was a concrete salesman for Conco Concrete; owned and operated Hydra Scrub; and was the owner of Orleans Trail Marina and Resort. He had a passion for sailing and a love of the water. He was an incredible husband, father, and grandfather.
Ron was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Inmon; father, John Plymate; stepfather, Ray Inmon; and brother, Rick Inmon.
Survivors include his wife, Jennifer (Stockton); son, Ryan and wife Rosey (Stockton); daughter, Sarah Schofield and husband Nick, (Springfield); son, Matt and wife Sami (Stockton); sister, Judy DePetrie (Florida); brother, David Inmon and wife Pat (Springfield); cousin, Vickie Peterson and husband Don (Springfield); brother-in-law, Jeff Marts and wife Vicki (Arkansas); nephew, Colton Inmon and wife Kassi (Highlandville); sixteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Bland-Brumback Funeral Home in Stockton, Missouri, on Friday, August 4, 2023, at 6:00 p.m.

Ron was always good to Todd and I. I remember the first time I met him - he already had my back. Ron did many things to help us including sharing their condo to help us get started in Florida, and even coming down to help me get the boat offloaded and the mast stepped. Both Ron and Jen helped us navigate the boat across Tampa Bay for the first time to our new home. He was a good friend. We will always remember Ron.

Ron was always very good to Todd and I. I remember the first time meeting Ron, he already had my back. He went out of his way to help us in many ways including sharing their condo to help us get started in Florida, and even coming down to help get me get the mast on the sailboat stepped. Both he and Jen helped us navigate Tampa Bay for the first time to bring her around to our new home. He was a good friend we will always remember Ron.
