Ronal Gene Bennett

  Roanal G. Bennett, 86, Seneca, MO, passed away February 12, 2026 at the Seneca House Nursing Home after an illness.
  Ronal Gene Bennett was born November 30, 1939 in Seneca, MO the son of Luther Oren Bennett and Dolly Ruth (Gensike) Bennett. Ronal had lived in the area all his life. He was a 1958 graduate of the Seneca High School. Ron worked as a barber at Bennetts Barber Shop in Seneca, he drove for Jefferson Lines in Joplin, Gale Webb Transportation and owned and operated the former Seneca Milling. Ron was a 32 degree Mason and a member of the Blue Lodge # 241 in Neosho, MO. He served on the Seneca Cemetery Board for many years and served as the Seneca Cemetery Sexton. Ron loved history and knew several generations of families.
  Ronald Gene Bennett married Sandra S. Hall December 16, 1961 and she preceded him in death March 7, 2021. He was also preceded in death by his parents, his siblings Mary Elizabeth Fort, William George Bennett, Ruth Ann and Twyla Forslund.
  Survivors include one son, Mark Bennett and wife Kathy; one grandson Cody Bennett and wife Kristi, Seneca; one sister, Phyllis Gillespie; great-granddaughters, Kimber, Kynlee and Khloe.; A host of extended family and friends.
  Graveside service will be held at 10:00 am, February 17, 2026 at the Seneca Cemetery with Truman Brady officiating.
