Belleville, Illinois - Ronald W. "Ronnie" Alvey, Jr., age 61, of Belleville, IL, born on June 4, 1960, in East St. Louis, IL, died on Sunday, February 6, 2022, at his residence.
Ronald worked for 32 years as a Draftsman/Design Engineer for Gundlach Machine – Hillenbrand Terra Source Global, Right Lane Industries. He was a member of St. Clair Lodge #24 A.F. & A.M. Ronald was an avid coin collector and loved going to auctions.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald W. and Shirley Jean Alvey, Sr.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Terri L. Alvey, nee Hitch; his daughters, Nichole Renee Alvey and Natalie Elyse (Kory) Alvey-Williams; his grandchildren, Benjamin Andrew Alvey, Sophia Lynn Williams, Kayden Jason Williams, and Dean Wayne Williams; his siblings, Steven Ray (Connie) Alvey and Michael Ray Alvey; his nieces, Brittany, Bridgette, Beverlee, Brooke, Kimberly, April, and Brandy; his nephew, John; his uncle, Benjamin Elms, and his aunt, Nelma Edson.

Visitation will be Friday, February 11, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Fairview Heights, IL.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at Kassly Mortuary Chapel, Fairview Heights, IL. Interment will be in O'Fallon City Cemetery, O'Fallon, IL.
