Ronald D Antill, 78, of Cambridge, passed away Friday, November 28, 2025, at OhioHealth Southeastern Medical Center.
Ronald was born January 10, 1947, in Cambridge, a son to the late Aubrey Antill and Geraldine "June" (Netting) Bolin.
Ronald graduated from Cambridge High School in the class of 1965 and retired from the post office and coached baseball for over 37 years. He coached leagues from Biddy League, Little League, Babe Ruth and Legion League. Daytona Beach was his second home and he'd bring home the palm trees that were planted in his yard that won him Best Yard for two years. He enjoyed coaching the Ohio State Buckeyes from his couch and was a member of the American Legion. He spent many hours working on the ballfield with his wife, loved spending time with his family and watching the hummingbirds.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his three siblings, Larry Antill, Connie Roe, and Dale Antill.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Antill, whom he married August 2, 1970; his son, Jim (& Tracey) Antill of Cambridge; his daughter, Jenny Antill of Cambridge; four grandchildren, Bryce and Reese Antill and Casey and Henley Brandt.
Visitation will be held at Thorn- Black Funeral Home in Cambridge, Tuesday, December 2, 2025, from 3PM-6PM with the service being held on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at 11AM. Burial will follow at Northwood Cemetery with military honors by the Guernsey County Veterans Council.
