Ronald C. Balcer
February 10, 1962 - February 19, 2023
Ronald C. Balcer was born on February 10, 1962 at St. Joe's Hospital in Flint to parents Gerald and Shirley Balcer. He was raised on the farm in Millington alongside his siblings Gerald Balcer Jr., Carolyn Stevens, Nancy Hall and Valerie Weiss.
Ronald was an avid collector of John Deere model tractors and he enjoyed looking after his many pet rabbits. Ronald loved spending time with his grandsons Easton Cramer, Oliver Sorensen and Axel Sorensen. He was looking forward to the arrival of his youngest grandson Cullen Triltsch.
Ronald is survived by his daughters Kandace (Alex) Sorensen and Kristina (Zach) Triltsch. He will be forever loved and missed by grandsons Easton Cramer, Oliver Sorensen, Axel Sorensen and Cullen Triltsch. Also surviving are his parents Gerald and Shirley Balcer; siblings Gerald Balcer Jr., Carolyn Stevens, Nancy (Jeff) Hall and Valerie Weiss, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Ronald is predeceased by a host of family members and loved ones.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at Hanlin Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors on Monday, February 27 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a private family hour from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Visitors will also be welcomed beginning at 10 a.m. on the day of the service.
Those desiring, may make a memorial contribution to a charity of their choice.
