My first memories of Ron Bass affectionately known to us as kids as "Ronnie"
My earliest memories of Ronnie and his Sister Keya were growing up in Hammond IN. Our families knew one another and exchanged the love that we have had for one another over the years. Ronnie & I attended Hammond High School with me graduating in 86 & him in 87. I remember him being laid back, friendly and easy going young man. I remember when Ronnie enlisted in the military but didn't realize how many ranks, accolades and awards he received. Although travel took our lives in different directions and life paths, I will always keep those fond memories of the man that I knew. Ronnie will be missed. I send my sincere and heartfelt condolences to Aunt Deb, His children Rahni, Chris, and Joseph and to Keya. I also extend my condolences to all extended family, friends and loved ones. I pray for your strength as you navigate the process of losing your Beloved Ron Bass. Take your rest in eternal peace. You have touched many lives including mine.

Ron was always there to help people, to keep them safe. He cared about people and helped those that others would ignore. He helped me often, once when I felt threatened at the mall. He was there for me immediately. He made sure that I was kept safe. He was a very respectful, caring man... He reflected the fact that people can be at the top of the world regardless of their position so long as they are able to see the big picture and understand that our choices and actions are always going to bring forward the cause and effect theory. He loved to drive the jaguar that I had. He instilled the concept of respect in those who had non. He was a very close friend to me and will be forever remembered, loved, and missed. I love you Ron... I'll be keeping you in my prayers and I'll be lighting candles for you as well as requesting others to do the same. Ron served our country and I would expect that he be honored for the man he was, and position he had held in his contributions to keeping our country safe. Rest in peace Ron.... till we meet again... He was someone who'll be greatly missed and forever loved...
I want to give my condolences to his mom, children, and the rest of his family... I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to have known Ronald Terrell Bass for the courageous, trustworthy, solid man that he truly was...
