Mr. Ronald Lynn Battle, 71, of Hagerstown, died late Monday, February 9, 2026, at Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown.
Born January 27, 1955, in the District of Columbia, he was a son of the late Sydney Burl and Katie Roberta Jackson Battle.
Mr. Battle worked in Washington for many years prior to moving to Hagerstown, where he enjoyed spending time at home watching football and old western movies.
Surviving are his daughters, LaAngela Martin of Hagerstown, and ReShawn Petway of Washington; his grandchildren Juan Martin of Hagerstown, Dajaunique Petway of Baltimore, and JaSean and Marquette Cooks, and Ariel and Destiny Petway, all of Washington; as well as his brother Reginald Battle of Takoma Park; former companion, Shirley Petway, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by siblings Henry and Juan Battle, Valerie Veney and Tanya Kee.
The Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, Hagerstown, is assisting the family with private arrangements.
