Ronald S. Bernat

Ronald S. Bernat, 77, of Union, CT, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 26, 2023. He was born in Stafford, CT, son of the late Frank and Adele (Kuliesh) Bernat. Ron served our country in the United States Army during the Vietnam era, and retired from Southern New England Telephone as an operations repair specialist. His real passion was hunting and fishing. He was also a member of the Staffordville Rod and Gun Club. Ron is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Sharon (Weingartner) Bernat; two sisters, Theresa Violette and her husband Jean-Paul, and Rosalie Martin and her husband Terry; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Edward Bernat. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2023 from 9:30-11:00 AM, with a funeral service to take place at 11:00 AM, at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT.
