Ronald E. Blais, 86, of Rehoboth, MA, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2025.
Born on April 20, 1939, he was a beloved son of the late Emile and Edna Blais.
Ronald dedicated his life to working at American Insulated Wire, ITT, Texas Instruments, Collyer Wire, Piggott Wire, and Checon, where he was admired for his hard work, integrity, and kindness.
He had a great deal of pride for his country and honorably served in the United States Army, a commitment that reflected his deep sense of duty and patriotism. Ronald continued his service to veterans and his community as Junior Vice Commander at Post 312 in Attleboro, where he oversaw many patriotic parades. Ronald was also the Commander of the Attleboro War Veterans Council from 1979-1980.
He loved collecting models of cars and trucks and gained great satisfaction in working with his hands. He will be remembered for his humor, generous spirit, and the way he touched the lives of everyone who knew him.
Ronald was a devoted husband to Marlene Blais, and together they shared 69 years of marriage filled with love, laughter, and unwavering commitment. He was a proud father of five children, Debra Papineau and her husband Roger of Rehoboth, MA, Lawrence Blais and his partner Cheryl Delfino Lamoureux of East Providence, RI, Jeannine Blais (deceased) from Norton, MA, Suzanne Blais and her partner George Jung of Norton, MA, and David Blais and his wife Trish of Woonsocket, RI; brother of Albert Blais (deceased), Raymond Blais (deceased), Vivian Marotte (deceased), Eileen Bergeron, and Francis Blais. Ronald was a cherished grandfather to 8 grandchildren and a proud great-grandfather to 10 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him endless joy. His family was the center of his world, and he found happiness in every moment spent with them.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Visitation on Monday, December 1, 2025, from 4 - 6 p.m. at Duffy-Poule Funeral & Cremation Services, 20 Peck St. Attleboro, MA.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on December 2, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Coyle Drive, Seekonk. Burial will take place at a later date. There will be no procession from the funeral home to the church the morning of the Mass.
