Ronald Burkett

 

Ronald Lee Burkett, 89, of Boonsboro, passed away, Friday, September 15, 2023, unexpectedly at his home. Born January 21, 1934, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Arthur and Ruth (Yeagy) Burkett.

Ronald worked as a Sheet metal mechanic doing mechanical and electrical contracting where he retired from. He was a member of the St. Agnes Catholic Church, Shepherdstown, W, VA, and the American Legion Post 0202.
 
He is survived by his two daughters, Tammy L. Hutzell and husband Gary and Michelle L. Burkett of Hagerstown. One sister, Barbara Burkholder of Hagerstown. Four grandchildren; Derek and Dawn Hutzell and Emmalee and Erinn Martin. Several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife Shirley Burkett of 60 years and sister Constance Sheffer.

 A Mass Christian of Burial will be celebrated Saturday, September 23, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 106 South Duke St., Shepherdstown, WV.
 Interment will be at Rest Haven Cemetery, 1601 Pennsylvania Avenue Hagerstown, MD at the convenience of the family.25433
