Ronald Richard Cerino

Ronald Richard Cerino, 86, husband of the late Lillian May Cole Cerino, passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2026.

Born in New York, NY, he was the son of the late Frank and Rose Ulrich Cerino.

A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Ron became a successful sales executive in New York City. After retiring, he and his wife moved to Folly Beach more than 25 years ago, where they embraced the beach life. A lifelong New York Yankees fan, he loved spending weekends listening to ballgames and Sinatra, and enjoying time with friends and family.

He is survived by son, Michael Cerino and his wife, Christine; grandchildren, Caitlyn, Allison, and Ryan (Hannah); great-grandchildren, Wells and Charlotte; and son, Thomas Cerino and his wife, Kate; and grandchildren, Quinn, Reid, and Cole.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Howard Cerino.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 12, 2026 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Downtown, followed by a Vigil at 10:30 a.m. The committal will be in M.J."Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery, on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. with military honors.
