Ron was a competitor of mine in the paint world. Ron worked for SW and I worked for Benjamin Moore. Ron had several years on me and whenever we would run into one another we'd always have a friendly conversation.
There was one conversation I would always remember. I had to go on a recommendation for a car wash. Prior to my appointment I saw Ron. Told him where I was going and that I had never "spec" out this type of job. Ron told me what type of products to use and things to look out for.
He was a class act.
My sympathies to all his loved ones.
