To The Family,
I knew Ronald when we were just young boys trying to grow up in a very different world. I spent many days and nights as a friend with Ronald while we were at St. Emma. May God keep his arms around you during this most trying time.

My condolences to the Delvalle Family. You don't know me but I attended St. Emma Military Academy with "Block" as we use to call him and I assure you that he was well respected and loved by many who attended St. Emma and our sister school, St. Francis De Sales. I am sorry for your loss.

To Pat and My Much Loved Brothers.
Sorry, I couldn't be there for Daddy's final departure but my heart is always near. To Remember my Dad, this is for him:

A Special Tribute to My Dad
By: Yavonne DelValle Williams

You gave me a special gift, “My Daddy”.
And for life, I am indebted to you for that.
Daddy’s little girl, that is how I’ve always thought of me to you,
Even during the time when you put me across your knee
and spanked me for being naughty at school.
I can never forget that, you see.

Across the years, we may have been apart
And distance was far spent way too much,
But all that time you were very close to my heart.

As any other person, you had your faults
Many broken promises as people do
But your dedication to your training, from the Military,
Made you sure of your responsibilities
and caused you never to leave the home without food on its table.
I remember the times
when Christmas would come early
it could be at any time of the year.
I believe it was something you did,
purely because you were still a boy at heart.
Your laughter, your smile
Even your stern growl
How could it ever be duplicated?
Never would I want it to be.

I saw you in the end and showed you my offspring
For me, that was an amazing thing
It may have been only for a short while
But it was long enough for me
to erase the trivial things and
regain the missing things lost throughout the years.
Why am I sharing all of this now?
I want everyone to know just what I think
Because to me you are extra special
And for that too
I love you, “My Daddy”.

To Ron's Family:
I worked with Ron at both Otisville & Ulster and there was none better. I used to kid with him quite a bit and he could always give it as good as he could take it. I just found out tonight that he passed and I can truly say that the world is a sadder place because of his passing. He was always a gentleman and I respected him Greatly. My sympathy is with you all at this most dificult time.Take solace in your memories and remembrances.
