Ronald Edwin Durham

Ronald Edwin Durham, age 75, of Danville, Va., passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2022, at Mulberry Creek Health and Rehab in Martinsville, Va. Mr. Durham was born on May 16, 1947, in Danville, Va., to the late Edward and Dorothy Smith Durham. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his infant daughter, April. He was married to Shae Dodson Durham.

Mr. Durham was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and was retired service representative with Commodore Mobile Homes.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Richard Roman (Jackie), Ronnie Roman, and Nick Durham (Bambi); grandchildren, Daniel, Jacob, Anna, Olivia, and Mikey; one great-grandchild, Jase; one sister, Carolyn Perry; two brothers, Danny Durham (Wanda), and Eddie Durham (Phyllis); a special aunt; Joanne Stowe; numerous nieces and nephews; two special girls, Crystal and Colleen; and best friends, Lee (Cindy), and Troy (Judy).

A celebration of life will be held at 4 p.m., Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at Norris Funeral Services, Mt. Hermon Chapel with the Rev. Bob Yeaman officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 3 until 4 p.m. At other times the family will receive friends and family at the residence.
