Ronald Elder Obituary

Ronald was born October 4, 1955 in Harrison County, Mississippi and was the son of the late Herman Clair Elder and Ida Emily Banks Elder. He earned an associate degree in computer science and worked as a forklift driver for Goodwill. He also owned Elder Marine Company, which was a mechanic shop in Shelbyville for 20 years. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, and working on computers. He was a man that had great personality, always wanting to conversate with people, and especially making them laugh.
Along with his mother, Ida Emily Elder, he is survived by his sons, Aaron (Angela) Elder of Lawrenceburg, and Ronald Elder, Jr. of AL; brothers, Dennis Elder and Chris Elder; sister, Phyllis Elder; and grandchildren, Hunter Elder and Haven Elder.
