Ronald Farrar, 63, of Cambridge, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2025, at Beckett House in New Concord.
Ronald was born in Cambridge, Ohio, on January 9, 1962. He was a 1980 graduate of John Glenn High School and worked for more than 30 years with Hinchcliff Lumber in Cambridge. Ronald was Christian by faith, an avid storyteller, and someone who found joy in making others laugh.
Ronald is survived by his mother and her husband, Judy Kay (Russell) Galbraith; and by his father, Paul R. Farrar Sr. He also leaves behind his children, Julie Kay, Ron Jr., Sarah Nicole; his siblings, Teresa (Scott) Gum, Bob (Amy) Farrar, Kevin (Kelli) Farrar, and Angela (Greg Cottrol) Bache; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
He is preceded in death by his father’s spouse, Helen L. Farrar, who passed away on October 11, 2025; his sister, Jennifer Huff; and an infant brother, Steven Farrar.
A caring cremation will take place, and no services will be held at this time. Ronald will be laid to rest at a later date in Northwood Cemetery in Cambridge.
