Ronald Fisher Obituary
LUTHERVILLE, Md. - Ronald Dale Fisher, 81, passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2024, at St. Joseph Hospital in Towson, Maryland.
He was born on March 16, 1943, in Butler, Indiana, to William Dale and Martha L (Moreland) Fisher.
Ron managed and was CEO at Medchi Insurance Agency in Baltimore Maryland.
He was a member of Forrest Lodge #239 in Butler and American Legion Post 183 in Parkville, Maryland. He volunteered for Meals on Wheels, American Red Cross and the American Cancer Society.
Ron is survived by a daughter and son, Carolyn Riess and her husband, Christian, of Philadelphia, and Ronald J. Fisher, of Fallston, Maryland; three grandchildren, Olivia Riess, Trevor Riess and Maxwell Riess; two sisters-in-law, Janet Fisher, of Leesburg, Indiana, and Roxanne Fisher, of Edgerton, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Roger Fisher and Richard Fisher.
A memorial service will be at noon on Sunday, Aug. 11, 2024, at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center St., Auburn, Indiana. The family will receive friends 1 1/2 hours prior to the service from 10:30 a.m. to noon, on Sunday at the funeral home.
A Masonic service will be conducted at 11:45 a.m., on Sunday, prior to the service.
Burial will follow the service at Woodlawn Cemetery, Auburn, with the Auburn/Garrett American Legion Honor Guard conducting Military Honors.
Memorials may be given in memory of Ron to Wounded Warriors or American Cancer Society.
