Ronald "Ronnie" Edward Gordon, 77, of Rossville, Georgia, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 7, 2025. Born and raised in Dayton, Tennessee, Ronnie later moved to Rossville, where he made his home for the rest of his life. He was a proud graduate of Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe High School and a devoted member of Lighthouse of the Word Church. Faith was central to Ronnie's life, he shared his gifts through the church's music ministry and enjoyed playing on the church softball team. Ronnie honorably served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps. After his service, he retired from Lookout Supply in the early 2000s and later continued his career as a warehouse manager with JDH. He was also a devoted Georgia Bulldogs fan, an adventurer who loved riding roller coasters, and someone who found peace and joy in the outdoors. One of his favorite places to be was his back porch, where he could sit, reflect, and take in the beauty of nature around him. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harley E. Gordon and Pearl Gossett Gordon; his sisters, Margaret "Maggie" Gordon, Judy Dunnington, and his brother, Gene Gordon. Ronnie is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Letricuce "Teresa" Gordon; their children, Tammy Tippens, Wayne (Flo) Gordon, Michelle (Huston) Bryant; sister, Linda Parks, twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 11, 2025, in the chapel of W. L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Homes with Pastors Mike Lowery and Brent Lowery officiating.
