Ronald Wayne “Heartthrob” Hartley, departed this life on Monday, July 21, 2025 in Memphis, Tennessee. He was born on May 10, 1956 in Twist, Arkansas to Asa Parker Hartley and Onida Whitehead Hartley. He was a proud United States Army Veteran who served his country with honor during the Vietnam War. A master carpenter by trade, Ronald had a remarkable gift for building and craftsmanship. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting for arrowheads. He will be remembered for his strength, his dedication to his work, and the love he had for his country, friends and especially family.
He is preceded in death his father: Asa Hartley and brother: Gary Hartley.
Ronald is survived by his mother: Onida Hartley of Marked Tree, Arkansas, brother: Kenny Hartley of Marked Tree, Arkansas, two sisters: Jackie Williams of West Memphis, Arkansas and Debbie Byrd of Clarksdale, Mississippi and his best friend: Angela Duncan of Earle, Arkansas.
Services will be private.
Arrangements are under the care of Delancey Funeral Home in Marked Tree, Arkansas.
