Visitation: 9 to 10 a.m., Thursday, December 4, 2025 at White's Funeral Home Chapel in Springtown, Texas.
Burial: 11:15 a.m., Wednesday, December 10, 2025 in DFW National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
Ronald was born on July 19, 1960 in El Paso, Texas to Walter Daniel Hicks and Alice (Andrews) Hicks.
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald Hicks, a man described by many as kind, caring, strong, smart, and profoundly loving. Born on July 19, 1960, Ronald left us too soon on November 18, 2025.
Ronald is predeceased by his beloved wife Susan Hicks, his father CWO Walter Hicks, and his loving grandparents William Hicks and Margaret Pattison.
His memory will continue to live on through his four daughters, Chelesea Wright, Amanda Swanzy, Erin Hicks, and Mariana Zarate, as well as his son, Justin Hicks.
Hicks' legacy will also be remembered through his ten cherished grandchildren - Angel Broumley, Kyelie Broumley, Justin Wright, Gabriel Hicks, Alyssa Wright, Estrella Flores, Ezequiel Flores, Tank Tarver, Elaina Zarate, Jesus Zarate, Kailey Zarate, Paisley Hicks, Scarlet Zarate, all of whom brought immense joy to his life.
Ronald led a life deeply rooted in kindness and generosity, teaching us all to love unconditionally, stand up for what is right, and use the gifts given to us to give back to others. His legacy lives on in those who were lucky enough to know him and learn from his wisdom.
An irreplaceable character in our lives, Ronald will be deeply missed, especially by his faithful dog, Miracle. This loss will be felt by each life he touched, and his memory will continue to inspire us. His passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, but his spirit will forever be etched in our hearts.
