Ronald Joseph Kober, 78 of Billings passed away Friday, February 3rd, 2023.
Ronald J. Kober was born June 15th, 1944, in Billings, to Rienhold and Eleanor Axtell Kober. He married the love of his life, the girl next door, Donna Kilwein on June 12th, 1965, at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Billings.
After serving his time in the U.S. Army he got honorably discharged and joined the Forest Service for a short period of time. He then joined the U.S. Postal Service and was there for 34 years before he retired.
Ronald loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, and all the family gatherings. He was a member of St. Pius X Church.
Ronald is survived by his wife Donna, two sons, Rodney, and Randy (Bobbie) Kober, one daughter, Janine (Jeremy) Gillis, one sister, Patricia (Jess) Herman, six grandchildren, Shonn, Ryan (Chauvanae) Kober, Anna, Zachary, Jay, Katrina Gillis, and one great-grandchild, Ryan Kober.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Leroy and James.
He was loved by many and will be missed.
Funeral Mass will be at11am Friday, February 10th at St. Pius X Church and will be live streamed. Reception to follow then Internment at 1:30pm will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Pius X Church.
