Ronald Peter Kurzawski, 78, of La Grange, Illinois, passed away peacefully November 29, 2025. Ron was born in Chicago, Illinois to the late Veronica (née Vilcek) Kurzawski and the late William Kurzawski. He married JoAnn Kurzawski (née Vitale) on December 5, 1971 and was the proud father of Aimee (Jeffrey) Chevalier and David Kurzawski and proud grandfather of Alyssa, Kyle & Rachel.
Ronald was the youngest of four and preceded in death by his parents and his twin sister, Rita (Tadeusz) Budz (a gentleman from the start, Rita was born first); sister Georgeann (John) Stroz, and brother William (Bernadette) Kurzawski.
Ron was a kind soul completely devoted to his wife and family. He ran a successful real estate appraisal business for the last 30 years and often donated his experience and knowledge to assist others in the profession. An active person his entire life, Ron enjoyed peaceful walks both on and off the golf course. He prioritized life-long learning and was a voracious reader. Ron will be remembered most for his fun attitude and positivity; he had a smile for everyone and a gracious spirit. Once you met Ron, it was hard not to love him.
