Ronald Marriage Obituary
Ron met Bernice Beatrice (Bebe) Childers while in college & working in construction with his brothers. Bebe & Ron's love led to their 32-year marriage & love for daughters Teri, Lisa, & Erin. The family remained in Ft. Lauderdale, active in Parkway Christian Church, where Ron played Capt. von Trapp in Parkway's Sound of Music production. Ron's rich baritone captured his role & his audiences.
More than anything, aside from being a Clint Eastwood "twin" & from the many homes he & his brothers built throughout S. Florida, Ron was a Christ-centered family man, beginning with parents & siblings & later with his own family & their friends & with his church family, where he worked in youth ministry. Those who knew Ron knew a patient, kind, humble, hospitable, nonjudgmental, gentle & funny man. Ron was self-sacrificing & helpful, skilled, strong, calm, generous, loving & caring, goofy & wise. All who knew Ron loved Ron.
After Ron lost Bebe to cancer in 2010, he paid great respect to her by finding new love & marrying Amy Robertson in 2012. Ron & Amy lived in Sunrise, FL until moving to Macon, GA, where he was again active in his church & relationships, from coworkers & family to neighbors & friends.
Ron leaves behind his wife Amy, his daughter Lisa (John) Bowling & their 5 children, daughter Erin (Eric) Freeman & their 3 daughters, 3 stepsons, his brother Anthony & sisters Catherine (John) Hill & Suzanne (Bill) Wheeler, 10 nephews & 5 nieces.
Ron will join his wife Bebe & daughter Teri (Ehren) Kuespert, his parents Joan & Warren, sister Heather (Jim) Schenk, sister-in-law Beth (Anthony) Marriage, and brothers Paul (Louise) Marriage & John A. Marriage, & niece Beverly Hill--all now with God. Celebration of life will be in GA in 2023, details forthcoming.

Ron was a man I have admired all my life. I looked forward to seeing him and learning about his latest endeavor. He openly shared his faith and was such an inspiration to us all. My heart is broken that we will not feel that joy of his presence in our lives anymore but it also rejoices that he is now with his Lord, experiencing the streets of gold with so many of our loved ones in heaven. Sending love, prayers and hugs to Amy, Lisa & Erin! We love you all so much!

Walking around the block I observed Ron doing some carpentry on the carport, I shouted to him that he looked like Joseph the carpenter and father of Jesus, turned and he gavel me one of his famous grins. I will miss you. Jose

We are so very very sorry to hear of Ron´s passing. He was a kind, gentle, giving, funny, talented, loving, God centered, awesome family man. He is in Heaven now with loved ones watching over his loved ones here on Earth. All who knew and loved him will miss him very much. Our love and prayers are with his family and and all of his loved ones.
